About the Role:

The Corporate Key Accounts and Research Team is seeking a Senior Research Analyst in New Delhi or Mumbai to work in coordination with a US based team. This team works across all segments within FTI to both identify new opportunities for pursuit while maintaining and growing relationships with key clients.

As members of this team, the Senior Research Analyst will be asked to investigate various company and industry issues, utilizing both proprietary databases and publicly available information, then accurately compile that information in the proper format.

The Analyst will also assist on marketing initiatives with research and compiling contact information for key individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly update information on active litigation using US and UK (or others where applicable) based court tools (PACER, Courtlink, BloombergLaw, etc.);
  • Manage daily and weekly alerting for stakeholders on news and key events;
  • Conduct searches for executive contact information based on desired criteria;
  • Perform research on companies, industries, and people as needed using reputable news sources, company websites, financial and legal filings - compile research into desired format;
  • Assist with preparation of reports, written analyses, presentations, and other deliverables; and


Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline;
  • At least 1-3 years experience in a research role, preferably in the professional services industry;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in English;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a multi-task environment with very strong attention to detail;
  • Capacity to critically evaluate and compare different sources of information and assumptions to assess reliability;
  • Ability to work under pressure to respond to deadlines;
  • Excellent work ethic, including a constant desire to learn;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; able to format data for viewing; and
  • Ability to present data succinctly, in an understandable and intuitive manner.
