About the Role

Our Forensic Technology team in India works with corporations, governments and law firms to meet with legal, regulatory and investigative demands by leveraging our skills to enable our clients to more confidently govern, secure, find, analyze and rapidly understand their data in the context of compliance and risk.

Our Technology India Team is expanding and is looking for a Managing Director to lead the eDiscovery Practice. Managing Director is responsible for managing discrete businesses withing FTI and have overall responsibility for revenue generation and developing teams as well as multiple aspects of specific client matters.

The practice primarily provides professional consulting services to law firms and corporations for coordinating document review and production using NUIX Discover, Relativity and other tools.

What You'll Do:

  • Leadership of FTI's e-Discovery business in India
  • Driving against specific revenue targets for the business - both sourced by self in the India domestic market and through stimulating internal demand to support global accounts
  • Developing the team and individuals through meaningful careers
  • Developing new solutions and localizing FTI global solutions for the India market
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and exhibits a strong executive presence
  • Proactive individual with strong drive, ambition, and enthusiasm
  • Able to delegate and supervise the work of others
  • Apply analytical skills and leverage existing methodologies to various client situations and practice disciplines and create novel, customized solutions to meet shifting client needs
  • Utilize logical reasoning skills to provide complete client service
  • Work to ensure a quality product and delivery of all work within established timeframes
  • Introduce additional FTI services to clients as needs dictate
  • Provide superior client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations
  • Professional image within the firm and project same to those outside the firm

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS or BA college degree is required
  • At least 15 years Relativity or eDiscovery related experience
  • Familiar with consulting business and environment
  • Track record in building businesses
Preferred Skills:

  • Already been sought as a leader in a comparable practice in the marketplace
  • 10 years of legal / electronic discovery / document review or consulting experience
  • Proficiency of Relativity databases
  • Knowledge of NUIX Discover databases or similar document review management applications such as Concordance, Introspect, Summation
  • Familiarity with MS SQL is a plus
  • Excellent communication and client interface skills (verbal and written)
  • Outstanding client service in demanding, deadline-driven situations
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Ability to think clearly under pressure Strong logical reasoning skills
  • Proven ability to conduct training in a professional environment
  • Ability to travel as needed
