About the Role

We focus on our clients' strategic, operational, financial and capital needs by addressing the full spectrum of financial and transactional challenges faced by corporations, boards, private equity sponsors, creditor constituencies and other stakeholders.

We are currently seeking a Director/Senior Director (Business Transformation/ Corporate Finance) to join our Mumbai office. Ideally, the successful candidate will take up the following key responsibilities and possess the key requirements enlisted below:

Key Responsibilities

  • Project management and client management. Manage staff and project budgets
  • Lead production of engagement deliverables. Prepare written reports, including quantitative and qualitative components
  • Manage client engagement risk and exhibit creative problem-solving techniques to address challenges
  • Apply financial, operational and analytical skills to various client situations (e.g. profitability improvement, production efficiency, benchmark and gap analysis, interim management, due diligence reviews, valuation, strategy planning and execution)
  • Manage performance improvement and business transformation assignments and propose solutions for clients to enhance their business. Being able to independently lead an entire project from planning throughout to implementation
  • Assimilate relevant information in unfamiliar situations, apply business acumen to address key issues, and align different resources to deliver achieve the goals in a fast-moving environment. Work closely with client's operational team to achieve their smooth transition
  • Assist in new business development, prepare marketing materials and attend client meetings
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members


Key Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree holder in Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA or equivalent certifications, MBA, and CFA are desirable
  • Minimum 10-12 years of relevant consulting or corporate experience in lean production, performance improvement, cost and production optimization, quality control, merger and acquisition, supply chain management, and business strategy planning. Hold managerial position
  • Solid knowledge in Indian manufacturing industry with focus on business transformation by aligning strategy, policies and operations across all functions including sales & marketing, operation, and supply chain to escalate business performance and profitability.
  • Experience in energy/ power sector will be preferred
  • Self-motivated, independent, proactive and adaptable to unanticipated challenges
  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal, managerial and analytical skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to complete multi-tasks in a timely manner under pressure
  • Ability to coach and grow the team
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Competent computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • This role requires travel to clients and FTI offices.
