EY and ServiceNow to collaborate for digital transformation services in India
Global professional services firm EY has announced its entry into a strategic partner with US-based cloud computing firm ServiceNow to support firms in India with their digital transformation processes. The duo will offer customised solutions that will facilitate organisational alignment.
Several consulting firms are currently ramping up their digital capabilities in India, primarily to meet the growing demand for digital transformation as the Industry 4.0 phenomenon sweeps across the country’s business environment. The road to developing these capabilities have varied across firms.
While some firms have focused on heavy recruitment strategies to boost internal digital talent, EY appears to be relying on strategic partnerships to meet this market demand. Last week, the firm announced a partnership with robotic process automation firm Blue Prism to offer customised solutions in the artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning domain.
Now, the firm has partnered with California-based cloud services firm ServiceNow to offer support with digital transformations. ServiceNow has been operational since 2004, and offers a wide variety of software services, including service management, enterprise cloud platforms, and custom app development.
It is this ability to customise digital solutions that will be leveraged in the new partnership, alongside EY’s experience with facilitating business transformations across various organisational stages, from business processes all the way to HR policies and customer service.
Alongside moving a number of operations to the cloud environment, the firms will also implement automated solutions wherever possible in order to ensure the streamlining of business processes, thereby increasing efficiency.
Commenting on the partnership, Sibjyoti Basu, Partner and Alliance Leader at EY India said, “Today, efficient and agile operations are critical to supporting the pace at which a business must move in the digital economy and yet businesses are challenged by manual processes, legacy systems and insufficient data. ServiceNow and EY share a strong focus on driving innovation and digital transformation across businesses’ value chain. Together, we can help businesses modernize their shared services that are so essential to their success.”
Mitch Young, Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific at ServiceNow added, “Our shared focus on co-innovation with EY’s strength in end-to-end business transformation complement each other and will help businesses derive value from their digital transformation investments. Together, we look forward to bringing in great technology, innovative thinking and business acumen to build digital workflow solutions combined with industry leading practices that will shape the future of work in India.”
