Tata Communications selects BearingPoint solution for IoT offering
Global tech solutions firm Tata Communications is looking to improve its MOVE IoT Connect offering by enhancing its customer management capabilities. To this end, the firm is looking to leverage Infonova – a cloud-based digital platform developed by global technology consulting firm BearingPoint/Beyond.
MOVE IoT Connect is a product of the global Industry 4.0 revolution, and is designed to enable cross-border organisational growth. Leveraging the solution significantly enhances connectivity, supported by global collaboration with a network of more than 600 mobile operators.
The solution also incorporates IoT capabilities through machine-to-machine interactions, in addition to mobile network enablement. The latter of these allows for increased efficiency in a number of business operations, including coverage, control, billing and subscriber management.
The solution is developed by Tata Communications, a global disruptive technology company that has a presence in more than 200 countries and territories across the globe, serving more than 7,000 customers and supporting more than 300 of the global Fortune 500 companies.
The firm is now looking to enhance the customer delivery on its MOVE IoT Connect solution. To this end, it will make use of BearingPoint’s Infonova Digital Business Platform, which facilitates the quick and efficient exchange of ideas and complex business interactions.
By implementing Infonova, Tata Communications will enable its customers to control their own IoT experience, by virtue of allowing oversight over various aspects of the connection in quick and efficient ways. Customers even have the ability to customise their own connections based on individual market needs.
Commenting on the partnership, Anthony Bartolo, Chief Product Officer at Tata Communications said, “Our vision is to enable a world where anything can be born connected. o fulfil this vision, we combine our own IoT and mobility capabilities with the expertise of industry partners like BearingPoint.
