Abhay Agarwal leads Capco's Pune and Gurgaon offices
Global consulting firm Capco has named Abhay Agarwal as Head of its Pune and Gurgaon offices.
Agarwal brings over two decades of experience to the role, focused on technology consulting to clients in the financial services industry. He joins Capco from Infogain, a Delhi-based product engineering and digital technologies solutions provider. Prior to that, he was a senior manager at Accenture for more than 15 years, where he worked with major financial services institutions from the US, UK, Canada and Europe.
At Capco, a global business and technology consultancy dedicated to the financial services sector, Agarwal will oversee the firm’s team of 100+ Pune-based consultants, as well as a small team in the newly established Gurgaon office.
Capco’s two other offices in India, in Mumbai and Bangalore, are led by Hiri Kowshika, Head of India. He has been with the firm for over six years. having previously served Accenture and PwC, among others.
Commenting on Agarwal’s appointment, Kowshika said: “Abhay brings extensive experience in driving major change agendas and cross functional initiatives within large organisations, including data strategy, IT transformation, product implementation and integration, and application modernisation projects. His proven expertise and leadership will be invaluable as we seek to expand in Pune and Gurgaon.”

Private equity backed Capco first launched in India in 2005 with an office in Bangalore. The company specialises in banking, capital markets, wealth and investment management, and supports its clients with consulting, technology and package integration, and managed services.
