Deloitte Consulting has appointed 14 new partners in India, as part of a broader intake of new partners across the professional services firm.

The first week of April is traditionally a big week for many of Deloitte’s company members (and the media), when the firm formally unveils its list of promotions across its ranks. The most notable promotion band is that from director to partner, which sees professionals transition from salaried professionals to equity partners – Deloitte is a privately-held partnership.

Across its Audit, Consulting, Financial Advisory and Tax divisions, Deloitte promoted 27 directors to partner level, with the majority of those focused on in-demand technology skills. Most of the firm's new partners specialise in new and emerging technologies such as cloud, cyber, digital and analytics.
