Big Four senior Sumit Goel joins leadership team of Praxis
Former Big Four senior Sumit Goel has joined Indian-origin management consultancy Praxis Global Alliance as a leader in its Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, and Life Sciences practices.
Appointed a Managing Partner (one of just four at Praxis), Sumit Goel leads the trio of practices, bringing extensive experience in healthcare and life sciences consulting to the firm.
Before joining Praxis Global Alliance, Goel was a partner at KPMG, leading the healthcare consulting practice. Earlier, he was a leader in EY’s Advisory business, focused on engagements in the life sciences sector.
His experience spans the consulting lifecycle, from strategy (growth strategy, revenue and profitability improvement) and dealmaking (commercial due diligence, post-deal value creation) to operational excellence, business transformation and digital transformation.
Over his over 15+ years in management consulting, Goel has advised dozens of leading healthcare chains and standalone hospitals, domestic and MNC pharmaceutical and medical device companies, diagnostic chains, and retail pharmacies, as well as working with private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, he worked in IT and digital transformation, among others at Siemens.

Based in Mumbai, Goel will be responsible for leading all aspects of the practices, including client management, project delivery and thought leadership.
