Beghou Consulting launches second Indian office in Pune

American life sciences consultancy Beghou Consulting has opened a new office in Pune, its second in India.

Founded in 1993 in Chicago, Beghou Consulting specialises in helping life sciences companies with enhancing their commercial operations. The firm combines management consulting capabilities with advanced analytics and proprietary technology, and currently has more than 150 consultants working from its offices in the US and India.

The latest office in Pune will specialise in analytics and data science capabilities, leveraging Pune’s large technical and IT talent base. According to the latest India Skills Report 2022, Pune is one of India’s leading talent hubs, with the city ranking ahead of many major other cities on the ‘employable talent’ index including Kolkata, New Delhi, and Mumbai.

Pune’s team of data scientists will support Beghou Consulting’s teams working for life sciences companies on go-to-market strategy, product launch strategy, commercial strategy and operations, and customer engagement modelling.

“We have assembled a team of highly skilled and experienced advanced analytics and commercial operations practitioners in Pune,” said Dan Wetherill, partner and leader of Beghou Consulting's advanced analytics and data science team. “These professionals will strengthen our firmwide analytics capabilities and enhance our ability to deliver innovative solutions to clients' most pressing commercial challenges.”

The Pune office is led by Saurabh Kukreti, who joins Beghou with 17 years of management consulting and analytics experience. Kukreti specialises in commercialization strategy, data strategy, operations excellence and business analytics.

Prior to joining Beghou Consulting, Kukreti led Eversana’s consulting and analytics capability team in India. An MBA holder from the Indian Institute of Management of Lucknow, Kukreti has extensive international experience, having worked in the United States, Europe and India.
