Guardian names EY partner Shiney Prasad as India leader
Insurance group Guardian has named Shiney Prasad as Country Head of its Indian organisation. He joins from consulting firm EY, where he was a partner.
Shiney Prasad has more than three decades of experience in a wide range of fields, including finance, shared services, performance improvement, technology, and digital transformation. He gained this experience in management consulting and financial services.

I look forward to collaborating with the leadership and my peers to build a dynamic, forward-looking, and inclusive organisation in India and advance the company’s purpose to inspire well-being”, Shiney said on his move.
Most recently at EY, Prasad led the firm’s Insurance business in India. The industry division advises insurance and reinsurance clients on topics including strategy, mergers & acquisitions, market entry, customer experience, finance, actuarial, operations, technology, project and change management.
“It has been an exciting journey to grow and build the premium advisory business to the insurance sector,” Prasad reflected.
Before EY, Shiney occupied several leadership positions at companies such as Sun Life Financial, AIG, Max New York Life, GE Capital, and American Express.
