EY appoints Farokh Balsara as leader of India Business Network
Big Four firm EY has appointed Farokh Balsara as Managing Partner of its India Business Network.
A 22-year veteran of EY, Farokh Balsara most recently served as the industry leader of the Consumer & Health practice, and before that, he was Markets Leader of EY India for over a decade between 2009 and 2018.
In his new role, Balsara will lead EY’s services that facilitate the entry of multinationals into the Indian market and the establishment or expansion of their global capability centres in India. He will also enable collaboration with other country organisations within EY’s 150+ country network to better serve global clients on their India-focused demands.

Previous roles of Balsara at the accounting and consulting giant include serving as leader of the Entrepreneur of the Year program in India, and as Media & Entertainment sector leader for the Europe, Middle East, India, Africa (EMEIA) region.
Balsara has a background in EY’s advisory business, specialising in topics such as business strategy, mergers & acquisitions for corporates and private equity, digital transformation, finance transformation, business planning, financial modelling, partnerships & alliances, and cost optimisation.
