Accenture leader Sameer Amte joins Alvarez & Marsal

Alvarez & Marsal has brought in Sameer Amte from Accenture to boost its Business Transformation practice in India.

Operating out of Pune, Sameer Amte brings over 20 years of consulting experience across industrial, retail, and life sciences sectors. He specialises in topics including performance improvement, digital transformation, supply chain, and omni-channel transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Amte spent 18 years with Accenture in its Strategy & Consulting business, latterly as a Senior Managing Director. He also was responsible for the Song business in India.

During his career, Amte has successfully led digital commerce and omni-channel transformations that involved enhancing customer experience, optimizing marketing investments, driving hyper-personalization and streamlining supply chain operations to strengthen market position. He has also advised clients on growth strategies, redesigning operating models, and executing digital and analytics-driven EBITDA improvement programs.
