KPMG names Hemant Jhajhria as new head of Consulting business
KPMG has brought Hemant Jhajhria on board from strategy firm Boston Consulting Group to lead its Consulting business in India.
Based out of KPMG’s Mumbai office, Hemant Jhajhria has been appointed as Partner and Head of Consulting, overseeing the Business, Technology and Risk Consulting practices. He also is part of the firm’s Leadership Team.
Jhajhria brings over 24 years of extensive experience in strategy consulting and industry to the Big Four firm. Prior to joining KPMG, he was a Managing Director & Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he led multi-year transformation programs across operations, risk, technology and analytics. He was a member of the Financial Institutions practice, working closely with banks, insurance groups, fintechs, regulators, and other financial institutions.
An early adopter and proponent of AI and Gen AI, Jhajhria also advised clients across India and Asia on designing and embracing the rapidly growing technology.
Before his tenure in consulting, Jhajhria served Citigroup for a decade, where he held multiple leadership roles and managed large P&Ls across consumer bank, wealth management, lending and digital businesses.
