Grant Thornton Bharat promotes Bhaskar Dhoundiyal to Executive Director
Grant Thornton Bharat has appointed Bhaskar Dhoundiyal as an Executive Director. The promotion is the latest step in a run through the firm that has taken him from manager to associate director and director, alongside his role as a director of Grant Thornton’s India Knowledge and Capability Centre.
In his new role at Grant Thornton Bharat, Dhoundiyal takes on broader responsibilities within a senior leadership team the firm has been building out as it expands its audit and advisory operations. He continues to serve as a director of Grant Thornton’s India Knowledge and Capability Centre, the Indian delivery hub that carries out work for the wider network.
His route to the role has run entirely inside the firm. Dhoundiyal joined as a manager and moved up through associate director and director, with responsibilities spanning audit, assurance, financial reporting and client advisory. He has been with Grant Thornton Bharat for several years; a start date for the new position was not disclosed.
Before that he worked at Walker Chandiok & Co LLP, as Manager in the National Professional Standards Group and as Assistant Manager in Assurance.
