Rahul Tiwari joins PwC India as Associate Director for Strategy and Transformation
PwC India has appointed Rahul Tiwari as Associate Director for Strategy and Transformation. He joins the firm from Pidilite Industries, the Mumbai-based adhesives and construction chemicals group, where he spent close to nine years, most recently as Senior Manager for Corporate Strategy in the office of the Vice Chairman.
The move takes Tiwari from the client side of corporate strategy to the advisory side of it. Over the past 11 years he has worked across marketing, sales, go-to-market, and business growth, building the kind of commercial track record that consultants are routinely asked to bring to strategy and transformation mandates.
Most of that career was spent at Pidilite, which he joined after a stretch in commercial roles elsewhere. His last position there placed him in the Vice Chairman’s office, working on corporate strategy.
At PwC he takes up a role in the firm’s strategy and transformation work, one of the areas where the Big Four firm competes with both the strategy houses and the larger technology-led advisors in the Indian market.
The hire follows a series of additions to PwC India’s ranks over the past year, among them Akshita Summan, who returned to the firm as a Director in August.
