Hotelivate and LW Hospitality Advisors form strategic partnership for business solutions
Months after breaking off from HVS India to form an independent entity, Indian hospitality consultancy Hotelivate has landed one of its first major partnerships. The firm will now link its operations with US-based LW Hospitality Advisors to offer consulting services across North America and the Asia-Pacific.
Late last year, the entire Indian team of hospitality consultancy HVS Consulting, complete with 42 professionals and senior managers, separated itself to form an independent practice by the name of Hotelivate. The exodus was led by Manav Thadani, who was formerly the Chairman for Asia Pacific and majority owner of HVS India. He now leads Hotelivate as a Co-founder and Chairman.
Hotelivate offers hospitality solutions for every operational stage, starting from project planning & execution, revenue management, and strategic advisory for generating returns. Services offered by the firm include asset management, executive search, investment advisory, and professional skills development.
Right from the start, the firm took on a pan-Asia-Pacific character, with additional locales in Singapore and Thailand. As a result, the firm has been offering consulting services to clients across the Asia-Pacific, which will now receive a considerable boost through a new strategic partnership with LW Hospitality Advisrors (LWHA).
Based in the US, LWHA is a consulting firm that specialises in hospitality and gaming real estate, spanning hotels, resorts, and the development of gaming centres. The firm’s operations are international, and services offered include valuation, feasibility, investment counselling, asset management, property management and transactional services.
Under the new partnership, Hotelivate and LWHA will “market, promote and collaborate with each other across the North American & Asia Pacific regions,” said a statement. The firm’s teams constitute cumulative experience at the senior partner level of more than 160 years, which they plan to leverage to become a truly global practice. Within India, the strong performance of the hospitality industry over the last year will help catalyse the partnership’s domestic operations.
Commenting on the partnership, Manav Thadani said, “It gives us distinct pleasure to announce our Singapore office and the strategic alliance with LWHA. There are a vast pool of hotel owners, investors and developers in North America who are keen to benefit from the fast-growing opportunity set in Asia. Conversely, Asian investors see a lot of value in extending their reach to the west. Hotelivate and LWHA are ideally poised to assist our respective clients in their growth strategies across the globe now. Both our firms offer a myriad of consulting solutions that are targeted, focused and curated to the needs of hospitality industry stakeholders. We are excited about the prospects of leveraging of each other’s strengths.”
Daniel Lesser, President & CEO of LWHA said; “The Hotelivate team is known across APAC for their decades of experience in providing trusted advisory to their clients. At LWHA, we too are passionate about serving our clients with the utmost professionalism, and providing high quality, unbiased due diligence in a timely and cost-effective manner. This alliance brings together two very driven and dedicated consulting forces from the west and the east, the opportunities to add value to our clients are immense.”
