TheSmallBigIdea wins digital mandate for new film

Mumbai-based marketing & advertising advisory firm TheSmallBigIdea has won the rights to manage the public and social media promotions of a new Maddock Films production titled Bala. According to senior executives at Maddock, TheSmallBigIdea’s portfolio was a defining factor in its selection for the job.

Since its establishment in 2014, TheSmallBigIdea has grown in prominence across the Indian market, not least due to the relevance of it service offerings. The firm supports clients with functions such as content marketing, performance marketing, social media management as well as web & app development.

In a rapidly digitalising Indian economy, marketing and advertising in the digital sphere has become increasingly crucial for companies. Simultaneously, widespread mobile internet access has led to a boom in consumption of online video content, boosting activity in the media & entertainment sector as well.

As a specialist in the digital marketing sphere, and with a wealth of experience with the entertainment sector, TheSmallBigIdea has found itself in a stream of business recently. The newly won contract with Maddock Films is the latest in a string of film contracts that the agency has won.

Under terms of the contract, TheSmalBigIdea will be tasked with the overall digital promotion portolio for a new film ‘Bala’. This entails developing digital video interactions featuring the lead actors that can be distributed across social media channels, while simultaneously constructing an overall social media strategy for the film.

The film, which is about the struggles of a pre-maturely balding man, released on the 8th of November for screens across India. Ayushman Khurana plays the lead role of Bala in the film. As the viewership rolls in, TheBigSmallIdea will be tasked with ensuring that the film attracts as much of an audience as possible.
