Praxis Global Alliance acquires boutique sustainability consultancy Unbound

Tech-based management consultancy Praxis Global Alliance has strengthened its capabilities in the domain of sustainability through the acquisition of boutique sustainability consultancy Unbound. Under terms of the transaction, Founder of Unbound Aakriti Gupta will join Praxis as a Vice President.

Praxis Global Alliance was founded in Mumbai in 2017, and offers management consultancy services that are suitable under the current Industry 4.0 paradigm. The firm helps clients leverage the latest in technology to gain a competitive market advantage, using a combination of advanced analytics and digital enhancements.

In addition, the firm offers support with digital transformation, which makes its suite of services particularly relevant in the contemporary context. Alongside Mumbai, the firm has a presence in Gurgaon, and is now looking to expand its capabilities and add another dimension to its operations. 

Praxis is looking to add a sustainability dimension to its services, to which end it has announced the acquisition of Unbound, which is also based in Mumbai and Gurgaon. Unbound is a relatively new firm that falls in the boutique category, but has already amassed a global clientele.

The firm offers a range of services in the sustainability domain, which extend to systemic change operations and transformations in organisation design. Unbound will be merged into praxis’ Talent and Organisation vertical, which will take the former’s name under the new alliance.

Aakriti Gupta, who is the founder of Unbound, will take up the position of Vice President at Praxis. Gupta is a former Global Business Manager at Indian IT services giant Wipro, and has also worked for two years as a Research Analyst at global management consultancy McKinsey & Company. She launched Unbound in 2017.
