Irvinder Kaur appointed head of Kantar's Analytics practice in India
Data and insights consultancy Kantar has made yet another appointment following the unification of its brand in India, this time in the form of Irvinder Kaur as its Lead for the Analytics practice. Kaur is tasked with delivery and business development across the Indian market.
Kaur has more than two decades of experience in the domain of marketing and insights. She holds a degree in Physics & Electronics from Delhi University and a Masters in Business Management from the indian Institute of Technology. She began her professional career at CDM Technologies & Hul, where she spent four years.
After a year as a management intern at Hindustan Lever, she moved to advertising agency Ogilvy & Mather, where she spent four years and ascended to the position of Account Manager. Kaur has been the Vice President for Consumer Products & Retail at Tacnova, and the Director for Marketing & Customer Development at Jarden Consumer Solutions.
In 2011, Kaur joined tech giant HCL, where she spent three years as the Assistant Vice President and Head of Business Development of Marketing & Strategy. She spent the last half a decade at GroupM, where she has been a Partner for the Marketing Consulting Practice and the Managing Partner for the Media & Marketing Consulting Practice.
She has remained with GroupM even after it was unified under the Kantar as part of an effort to develop a global analytics practice, and after all the subsidiaries were unified under the single brand of Kantar earlier this year. She will now take over as Lead for Kantar India’s Analytics practice.
Commenting on her appointment, CEO of Kantar’s Insights Division for South Asia Preeti Reddy said, “Irvinder’s experience across marketing, sales, and analytics will help Kantar deliver better marketing ROI solutions for our clients. This is a core focus area for Kantar and we are confident Irvinder will give it the impetus it needs.”

Kaur is tasked with business development and delivery for the Indian market, as Kantar becomes more active in the country. This is Kantar’s second high-profile appointment in India this month, having appointed Rajani Athreya as its Group Head of Human Resources at the start of May.
