DAN Consult appoints new Partner for MarTech, RPA & data services

A year after launching in the Indian market, Dentsu Aegis Network’s consulting arm – DAN Consult – has appointed a new Partner for Martech, Robotic Process Automation (RPA) & Data. Milind Shah joins the firm’s Mumbai office, where he will report to CEO of the firm Lalit Bhagia. 

Shah is expected to boost DAN Consult’s marketing technology (MarTech) profile in the Indian market. The firm launched in the Indian market in May last year, having recognised the country’s tremendous potential for digital marketing and advertising over the next few years. MarTech is a big ticket to capitalising on this scenario.

In addition, Shah will help grow the firm’s operations in the RPA domain, which is another increasingly competitive segment in the country. A number of major consulting firms are currently boosting their profile in the RPA domain. Shah is also tasked with managing overall data consulting services.

DAN Consult is undergoing an overall boost to its marketing transformation services division, and Shah’s appointment is a consolidation of this process. Shah’s leadership of the segment will be informed by his wealth of professional experience which spans a number of high profile firms.

He Holds a Masters in Operations Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and began his professional career as an advertising professional. As his career progressed, Shah made his way to becoming Sales Manager at global consultancy Capgemini, following which he worked as a Country Service principal at Hewlett Packard for four years. 

Shah has also spent half a decade as an Associate Partner at global IT services giant IBM’s Mumbai operations, where he handled a number of large accounts for the firm’s growing business profile in the country. He joins from IT services firm Cognizant, where he was Head of Sales and Associate Vice President.
