BCG veteran Neeraj Aggarwal has taken on the role of Managing Director at BCG India. In his new role, Aggarwal will seek to continue to build on the strong footprint the firm has in India as well as aim to strengthen its ties with the firm’s global operation.

Neeraj Aggarwal has been working at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) for the past sixteen years. During his time at the consulting firm, he ascended to the level of Senior Partner with a role as Director of the firm’s Technology, Media & Telecom and Financial Services verticals. Prior to joining BCG in 1999, Aggarwal was a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) at Cadence Design Systems, which designs electronic automation systems, and worked for the company for almost three and a half years.

Aggarwal holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Ohio State University and a Bachelor degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi.

In his new role as Managing Director, Aggarwal will lead BCG’s more than 36 partners and 460 consultants in India. His stated aim is to keep up the goodwill enjoyed by the company in India, as it continues to attract both the most talented graduates as well as serve prestigious clients. Aggarwal will also continue to strive for a bigger role of BCG India’s staff in the global network of the firm. Currently, a total of 20 Indians fulfil leadership roles at the group – including 12 members in the firm’s global Executive Committee.

“We already have a very strong platform. I want to continue to build that further. We are also one of the most preferred, and top recruiters here, having hired the best 100 talents from the top B-schools last year and I want to continue to build on all these,” explains Aggarwal.
