Anshuman Sinha joins Kearney's partner team in India
Global consulting firm Kearney has promoted Mumbai-based Anshuman Sinha to partner.
The newly promoted leader has been the consultancy for over a decade, having joined Kearney in 2009 after completing his studies at the prestigious Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, India’s third oldest business school after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.
During his tenure at the firm, he has risen from business analyst to principal, and based on his demonstrated excellence at clients as well as internally, he now has been admitted into the firm’s partnership. He has led projects across a range of industries, including steel, pulp and paper, and communications as well as government agencies on topics ranging from strategy and organisational design to quality control.
He is part of Kearney’s Industrial Goods and Services, Communications, Media, and Technology, and Public Sector industry verticals, and from a services perspective, he is part of the Strategy and Top Line Transformation, Operations and Performance Leadership, and Change and Organization service lines.
“I always want the project to have an impact that you can tell your grandchildren about,” Sinha said with a smile. “But at the least, I want to have a big enough impact that the client will always remember me, even years after the project is over.”
Commenting on why he has staid faithful to management consulting for so long, he said: “My favourite thing about consulting is the thrill of problem solving. You’re always learning, even after so many years in the industry. It’s still an amazing feeling to look at a new problem, try to understand its unique context and own special elements, and then try to solve for it day in and day out.”
Sinha becomes Kearney’s tenth partner in India, following in the footsteps of country managing partner Kaushika Madhavan, and Ajay Gupta, Himanshu Bajaj, Manish Mathur, Neelesh Hundekari, Ram Kidambi, Siddharth Jain, Subhendu Roy and Viswanathan Rajendran. Kearney has two offices in the country, In Mumbai and New Delhi.
Welcoming Sinha, Madhavan said: “It with utmost happiness and pleasure I welcome Anshuman to our partnership. Wishing him all success as he takes the next step in his illustrious career with us.”
