Geneva Group International adds string of member firms in India

Global association of accounting, law and consulting firms Geneva Group International (GGI) has added four new member firms in India this summer, building on an ever expanding international presence. 

RJV Advisors

Based in Kolkata, RJV is a 72-strong team of accounting and advisory professionals offering services in the business advisory, transaction advisory, shared services, corporate law, taxation and assurance spheres, among others. RJV’s clients span a range of sectors, from manufacturing and construction to IT and financial services, and a number of others. The firm joined in early June.

Chessy Consultants

Also Kolkata-based, Chessy Consultants joined GGI in early June as well. Established in 2005, the firm offers a wide variety of services, including tax advisory, risk assessment, audit & assurance, transaction advisory and financial planning, among others.

PK Chopra & Co

The Gurgaon-based firm was established in 1963, and has since expanded to an India-wide operation with satellite units in Mumbai, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Bangalore and Kochi. Services include auditing, taxation advisory, corporate services and consulting, among others. The firm was added to the GGI network in mid June.

Evas International 

The most recent Indian addition to the network is Kerala-based Evas International, which joined last month. The firm’s 50-strong team is spread across Kerala, with additional offices in Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah in the UAE. Evas’ services include VAT consulting, audit, assurance & accounting, business consulting and corporate services, among others.

India network

The four new additions join an expansive GGI member network in India. Other member firms include: Ahmedabad-based Zinzuwadia & Co with branches in Vadodara, Mumbai, Kalol and Surat; Delhi-based RN Marwah & Co with branches in Gurgaon and Bangalore; Hyderabad-based Komandoor & Co with branches in an additional 17 cities spanning Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore, among others; Ludhiana-based Ashwani & Associates with branches in New Delhi, Chandigarh and Mumbai; Little & Co, based in Mumbai and Delhi; Mumbai-based ML Bhuwania & Co; and Delhi-based SKC World.

Geneva Group International is among a number of professional services networks to bolster their presence in India, as the country’s business environment looks to navigate the Covid-19 crisis.

Last week, Consultancy.org revealed that global accounting and advisory network Prime Global also added four new member firms in India over the summer.
