A&M promotes Praveen Pajiar, Rahul Gosain and Sudeep Mehrotra
Global management consulting firm Alvarez & Marsal has promoted three of its staff in India to Managing Director.
Praveen Pajiar is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in Mumbai. He has more than 15 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain in both discrete and process industry. He specialises in product supply strategy, cost optimisation, supply planning, inventory management, lean manufacturing, operational excellence and process improvement.
He has worked on engagements in various industries including manufacturing, automobile, consumer business, healthcare and life sciences and retail.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Pajiar worked with Deloitte focusing on supply chain and manufacturing for the consumer and industrial product sector. Previously, he served Procter & Gamble in their product supply group and led the implementation of Lean Six Sigma across two facilities in India.
Rahul Gosain serves Alvarez & Marsal’s Disputes & Investigations practice in Mumbai. He leads the Business Intelligence practice. He brings 11 years of experience conducting whistle-blower investigations, complex fraud investigations, reputational due-diligence, asset tracing and litigation support matters to his Managing Director role.
Over the course of his career Gosain has overseen 400+ engagements in pre- and post-acquisition due diligence, asset traces and complex management frauds, and multijurisdictional fraud investigations, working with Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions and private equity and hedge funds.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Gosain was a member of the regional management team for JCPenney's $2 billion Asian sourcing business, where he was responsible for managing investigations, reputational risk and security for the company’s international offices.
Sudeep Mehrotra is a Managing Director with Alvarez & Marsal in its Transaction Advisory Group, based in Mumbai. He specialises in revenue enhancement and transaction advisory in the infrastructure, logistics and education industries. His primary areas of concentration are commercial diligence, growth strategy and implementation of growth projects.
Notable assignments Mehrotra worked on include supply chain design for complex manufacturing companies; logistics cost optimisation for retail and manufacturing companies; growth strategy and implementation for logistics companies; and growth strategy implementation for companies in stationeries and publication business.
Prior to joining Alvarez & Marsal, Mehrotra spent three years with APM Terminals in Mumbai, where he most recently served as Head of Business Development in South Asia.
