Former McKinsey consultant Anjana Sasidharan joins L Catterton
Former McKinsey & Company consultant Anjana Sasidharan has joined private equity firm L Catterton in its Mumbai office.
Anjana Sasidharan brings over a decade of experience to L Catterton, with over $22 billion of equity capital across its funds one of the largest global consumer-focused private equity firms in the world. She transfers from Sequoia Capital, where she spent nearly a decade.
Sasidharan gained extensive expertise investing in early-stage, fast-growing, and innovative companies across a number of consumer categories, with particular experience in the healthcare space. While at Sequoia, she also led the formation of Sequoia Spark, a community platform designed to foster collaboration and engagement among women founders across India and South East Asia.
At L Catterton, she has been tasked with overseeing investments in earlier-stage start-ups and scale-ups across India and South East Asia. “Anjana is an extremely talented and experienced investor, and we are excited to welcome her to L Catterton,” said Chinta Bhagat and Scott Chen, Managing Partners of L Catterton in Asia.

Earlier in her career, Sasidharan worked nearly four years for McKinsey & Company, where she started her career.
Alongside her role at L Catterton, Sasidharan serves as a non-executive director on company boards. These included in the past: Biofourmis, Eruditus, Wingreens Farms, Medgenome, Vini Cosmetics and La Renon.
