Global consultancy Ankura appoints Amit Jaju as India country leader
Global management consulting firm Ankura has named Amit Jaju as its country leader for India.
Appointed a Senior Managing Director based in Mumbai, Amit Jaju has been tasked with leading the firm’s operations in India, and expansion plans. US-headquartered Ankura has over 1,500 consultants and staff across 35 locations worldwide, but has an ambitious growth ambition, with Asia and India key markets identified for expansion.
“I am delighted to have joined an exciting and fast growing global consulting firm at Ankura and lead our business in India. Ankura is already been preferred by clients in India for our cutting edge solutions and globally connected offerings,” said Jaju.
The country head joins from FTI Consulting, where he was a Senior Managing Director and India Head of Technology. Prior to FTI Consulting, he spent fourteen years at Big 4 firms – five years at KPMG (in its Forensic Services wing) and more recently nine years as a Partner and Head of Forensic Technology at EY. Jaju started his career with a boutique cyber security consulting company.
At Ankura, he will focus mainly on technology consulting and digital forensics, the latter his key area of expertise. Jaju has extensive experience with client issues such as fraud, data theft, intellectual property and financial crime, supporting them with offerings including digital forensics, e-discovery, cyber, analytics, compliance and automation.
His experience spans multiple industry sectors, most notably financial services, pharma, technology and media & entertainment, and he has served clients in over 20 countries.
“This feels like homecoming… I look forward to working with the top global experts in the field of investigations, cyber, analytics, digital and compliance,” said Jaju.
Meanwhile, Ankura also appointed a new Senior Managing Director in its Hong Kong office: Christopher Marks.
