Bain & Company hires team of boutique consultancy Areté Advisors
Bain & Company has hired the full team of boutique management consultancy Areté Advisors, bolstering its practice in India with 30 consultants.
In a press statement, the global strategy consulting giant announced that it has agreed a deal to welcome the entire team of Areté Advisors, with new company members to be integrated within Bain & Company’s three offices in India (Bengaluru, Mumbai New Delhi).
The move marks Bain’s first deal of 2022, following two transactions closed last year: Tech Economy (in the United Kingdom) and Pangea (in Italy).
Founded in 2013, Areté Advisors has grown into one of India’s leading homegrown boutique consulting firms. The consultancy provides a wide range of advisory services including corporate and business strategy, business planning, market assessment, commercial due diligence, organisation structuring, and performance improvement.
“Areté Advisors is a great strategic fit as we prepare for the future and will support our plans to scale our business,” said Karan Singh, India Managing Partner at Bain & Company.

The deal sees Areté Advisors co-founders Monika Sood and Shradha Vaid join Bain respectively as partner and associate partner.
