Jyothi Vynatheya Oberoi and Prerak Mehta partner at Dalberg
Global management consulting firm Dalberg has appointed seven new partners worldwide, with a duo of leaders based in the firm’s Mumbai office.
Jyothi Vynatheya Oberoi has been with Dalberg since 2013 and focuses on strategy planning, market assessment, program design, and monitoring and evaluation, with a focus on the public health, access to energy, and youth programming.
Her track record includes supporting a Fortune 100 energy company on sustainable energy initiatives, the development of a five-year donation strategy focused on youth programming for a large foundation, the design of monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks for a large foundation, and helping a health player with improving outpatient management of chronic diseases in India.
Prior to Dalberg, Oberoi worked for The Earth Institute (Columbia University) on a district-level health systems strengthening initiative with the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, focusing on maternal and child health services delivery. Jyothi also previously worked for pharma and healthcare consultancy IMS Consulting in the United States.
Prerak Mehta has been with Dalberg since 2016, focused on human-centered design and global health. He works at the intersection of design, technology and social impact across healthcare, education, leadership development, livelihoods, enterprise solutions and business development.
His track record includes helping health providers with product development, taking health products from concept to licensing (including a wearable heart health remote monitoring device ecosystem), and overseeing the delivery of new health products into the Indian market.
Prior to Dalberg, Mehta worked at Embrace Innovations, where he spearheaded product innovation and research on empowering mothers and caregivers to recognize the early signs of newborn illness like hypothermia, infection and subsequently pneumonia through technology and design intervention.
