Boston Consulting Group names Rahul Jain as India leader
Boston Consulting Group (BCG) has appointed Rahul Jain as the new leader of its India organisation.
Rahul Jain is a more than two-decade company member of Boston Consulting Group, and currently serves as a Managing Director & Senior Partner and leader of the Industrial Goods practice across the Asia Pacific region. He is also a core member of the Consumer, Operations, and Global Advantage practices.
Jain has deep expertise in business strategy, growth, operations, sales and marketing, and performance improvement. He also has experience in turnaround, having successfully led turnarounds of several industrial companies.
Since joining BCG in 2001, Rahul has worked with several clients in India and Asia transforming their strategy and operations, delivering a step change in business performance. He is an expert in automotive, engineering, logistics, and various process industries including cement, steel, chemicals, power, and other building materials.
Now ascending to the highest leadership position in India, Jain said he was proud and humbled to have received the vote of confidence from the firm’s 110 partners in the country.
Reflecting on the icing on the cake of his BCG career so far, Jain said: “Since I began working at Boston Consulting Group in 2001, I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to have held a variety of roles over the years. I have driven complex business transformation at scale for client organisations, restructured operations, sales, and marketing, and delivered a step-change in overall business performance.”

Shah led Boston Consulting Group in India since September 2018, and has now transitioned into a regional leadership position – leading BCG’s CEO Advisory practice in Asia Pacific.
