Global consulting firm Sia Partners has opened its first office in India, with Mumbai the firm’s seventh hub in Asia Pacific.

Matthieu Courtecuisse, the Founder and CEO of Sia Partners, said that the move into India was a long-cherished desire from the company. “This move will help us serve our international clients as they expand their presence in India, but will also help us better serve large, Indian companies.”

Headquartered in France, Sia Partners is a global consulting firm with over 2,800 staff. “India becomes our 20th operational country,” said Courtecuisse.

Vincent Kasbi, Head of Asia at Sia Partners, welcomed the expansion, describing it as a major milestone for the firm’s continued expansion in the Asia Pacific region. “We are looking forward to the synergies with our existing presence in Greater China, Singapore, Japan and Australia.”

The Mumbai office will initially focus on clients in the financial services and the technology sectors. “Our objective is to serve a combination of Indian and western large corporations,” said Kasbi. The Indian hub will soon also launch an AI Development Center, with the aim to support the development of proof-of-concepts and products.

“Our objective is to reach 50 people by the end of 2024,” said Courtecuisse. “I’m so far truly impressed by the exceptional quality of the workforce in Mumbai and the dynamism of one of the world's most vibrant economies.”

Earlier this year, Sia Partners also launched a second office in Australia, where it recently was named among the nation’s leading consulting firms in multiple categories.
