Pierag Consulting promotes Sanchit Gupta to Chief Operating Officer

Pierag Consulting has promoted Sanchit Gupta to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

With over a decade of cross-border experience spanning India and the United States, Sanchit Gupta brings a rich blend of global perspective and technical knowledge to the COO role. His expertise spans financial audits, internal controls, PCAOB and AICPA engagements, and setting up Global capability centres (GCC) in India.

Gupta has been an integral part of Pierag Consulting since its inception in 2021, and has played a pivotal role in building and scaling the firm’s Assurance and Advisory practice.

In his new role as COO, Gupta will oversee firm-wide operations, lead delivery excellence, and drive cross-functional alignment across business functions and service lines.

Reflecting on his appointment, Gupta stated: “I am honored to take on this responsibility and contribute to Pierag Consulting’s continued growth. As COO, I look forward to strengthening our operational framework, enhancing client value, and leading our teams toward new milestones.”

Launched three years ago as a collaboration with the US arm of Baker Tilly, Pierag Consulting has grown into a consulting firm with offices in India and two internationally (US and Singapore). Its three other lines of business are Assurance, Business Risk, and Technology Risk.
