Kearney names Siddharth Jain as Managing Partner for India

Effective per the start of this year, Siddharth Jain will oversee Kearney’s strategic direction, operations and teams across offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, and New Delhi. He will focus on strengthening Kearney’s market position in India, driving client impact, and accelerating the firm’s growth trajectory.

Jain brings a wealth of experience to his new role. In his more than 16 years with the consulting firm, he has held pivotal roles, most recently as the Asia Pacific Co-Lead for the Strategic Operations and Performance practice . His expertise lies in leading large-scale operations transformations for clients across industries.

Siddharth chose to specialize in operations for several reasons. “I was drawn to operations work because it offers the opportunity to take on complex analytical problems and deliver a highly tangible impact,” he notes. “I especially enjoy it when a project poses a brand-new problem; that’s the kind that excites me the most.”

While he is proud to have helped so many companies in India make significant operational improvements, Siddharth also enjoys the opportunity to take on international projects. “One of my most memorable projects was a cost transformation journey for a multinational based in Dubai,” he says. “We created massive tangible impact that made the client very happy.”

Commenting on the appointment, Shigeru Sekinada, Region Chair of Asia Pacific, said: “Siddharth has a clear purpose to work towards the wellbeing of society and change India and the world at large. His passion for driving regenerative transformation among the most influential large corporations and emerging companies establishes him as an innovative leader who will guide clients to new horizons.”

“I am confident that under Siddharth’s leadership, our team in India will deliver high quality in every engagement and foster a purpose-passion driven culture that attracts talented professionals.”

Jain succeeds Kaushika Madhavan, who took over from Vikas Kaushal in 2020 and will now focus on market and client expansion initiatives in India and Asia-Pacific. Under Madhavan’s leadership, Kearney experienced significant growth in India.
