Sunil Gautam and Jaideep Shergill to support Moe's Art with growth strategy
Public relations (PR) and communications consultancy Moe’s Art has appointed Sunil Gautam and Jaideep Shergill as independent advisors, to help develop the firm's growth strategy. The duo each bring nearly two decades of experience in the advertising, PR and communications domain.
Both professionals have a degree of familiarity with each other, given that their careers have aligned at several points. Gautam founded Clea Public Relations in 1985, and worked there as a director before founding Hanmer MS&L Communications in 1999, where he took over as Managing Director.
Shergill joined Clea Public Relations in 1998, and joined Gautam at Hanmer MS&L in 2000. He remained at Hanmer MS&L for more than a decade, eventually ascending to the position of Chief Operating Officer, before taking over as Chief Executive Officer when the firm was rebranded as MSL Group India.
Currently, both are engaged in a strategic communications consultancy by the name of Pitchfork Partners, which they co-founded in 2015. In light of their experience and success, the duo has now been called upon for help by Moe’s Art, a Mumbai-based PR and communications consultancy with a team of around 40 professionals. Moe's Art was co-founded by Vishaal Shah Mayank Sen.
Moe’s Art specialises in media and content creation, helping organisations build brands and develop communications strategies. The firm supports clients with branding in the digital sphere, as well as with media exposure, press conferences and social media campaigns.
Commenting on their appointment, Gautam and Shergill said, “Moe’s Art is a promising young brand in the communication industry and they have executed several innovative campaigns over the last few years. We are excited to associate with Moe’s Art at this stage of their journey and aid in fuelling the next wave of their growth.”
Mayank Sen, co-Founder at Moe’s Art added, “We believe that Sunil Gautam and Jaideep Shergill bring immense experience and expertise along with an enduring spirit of entrepreneurship to the table. Under their guidance we will expand the consultancy in newer avenues and services. We would also like to draw on their experience in creating innovation strategies and solutions for clients.
“As our advisors, they will counsel on a macro-level including overall operations. Their involvement will be in other areas based on the scope of work. Their main focus will be to strengthen the organisational processes that include strategic expansion, tapping into the newer service areas, etc., while client-related operations are independently managed,” he continued.
This drive for a rejuvenated growth strategy comes at a time when rapid digitalisation in India is creating tremendous potential for the advertising and communications sector. A diversified suite of services is crucial to remain competitive in the context, which is what Moe's Art is now striving for.
