Vishal Bhave joins Insurance arm of Praxis Global Alliance
Praxis Global Alliance has added another seasoned expert to its Financial Services practice in the form of Vishal Bhave.
In the past six months, both Arun Thukral and Sujan Sinha joined the firm’s financial services vertical, bringing over sixty years of experience in the sector to the management consulting firm. Vishal Bhave adds two decades across various businesses in financial services to the mix, with a specialisation in the insurance industry.

Bhave joins from Tata AIG General Insurance (a joint venture between Tata Group and AIG), where he was Chief Product & Strategy, and before that, he was a Senior Vice President at Apollo Munich Health Insurance and Head of Channel Development at Bharti Axa Life Insurance. Earlier in his career, he spent over a decade at ICICI Prudential and Dutch banking group ABN Amro.
In his new role, he will work with clients on issues ranging from sales and distribution strategy, performance management, digital transformation, business planning, and product management. “I am excited to be associated with Praxis and the platform it provides to add real value to clients through its unique execution focussed consultancy model.”
He joins at a time when the insurance industry is “at the cusp of real change” he said, making it more important than ever for the sector to embrace change including technology, changing customer preferences, and regulations.
