Govind Shrikhande and Ruchira Jain join RedSeer as expert partner
Indian-origin management consulting firm RedSeer Consulting has appointed two new expert partners in India.
Govind Shrikhande brings over three decades of experience in retail to the consulting firm. He previously spent seventeen years with Shoppers Stop, a large department store chain with over 80 stores across the country. Latterly serving as Managing Director, Shrikhande led the firm’s strategy, financials and operations as well as its 14,000+ employees.
Since stepping down in the summer of 2018, Shrikhande acted as an investor, consultant to private equity groups such as Kalaari Capital and Multiples, and as coach to executives and start-up founders.
Ruchira Jain is a marketing strategy and consumer behaviour expert with over two decades of experience in retail and fast moving consumer goods. Most recently, she founded Elevate Insights, an insights consulting firm, following a career of more than eleven years at PepsiCo, where she was Director, Insights & Strategy responsible for the consumer strategy for the company’s portfolio of love-mark brands.
In between, Jain served as Vice President Consumer Insights at Swiggy, while earlier in her career she worked in the US for two market research agencies.
In the role of expert partners at RedSeer Consulting, the duo will help the consultancy deliver results at its clients in the retail and fast moving consumer goods space. “In these changing times with online becoming a key channel in retail, our vision is to empower the traditional retail businesses and help them build successful business models,” said Anil Kumar, co-founder and CEO of RedSeer Consulting.
“We are very excited to have such experienced leaders join us who will help steer the next phase of growth for RedSeer,” he added.
The appointments come shortly after RedSeer’s research arm teamed up with Shadowfax to launch the Logistics Index – a quarterly roundup of supply chain and logistics performance in the ecommerce sector.
