Worxogo wins KPMG India's inaugural Tech Innovator Challenge
Worxogo Solutions, a Bangalore based company that applies intelligent technology to bolster the performance of commercially minded employees, has been named the winner of KPMG’s inaugural Tech Innovator Challenge in India.
The competition, which this year was held across seventeen countries globally, recognises and celebrates leading start-ups in the technology domain. Winners of the domestic editions receive a one-year mentorship from KPMG, and are handed the opportunity to represent their country at the Global Tech Innovator Final.
Expanding on why KPMG India brought the global competition to India this year, Amarjeet Singh, a partner at the firm said: “The Global Tech Innovator Competition was launched as a marquee property of KPMG to focus primarily on innovative tech startups, who will be the leaders of tomorrow.”
“Through this competition, we hope to provide a ready platform for the private equity / venture capital community to witness some up and coming startups in India and provide them with access to a global platform, thereby helping them grow.”
Over three dozen startups from across the country participated in the national competition, with fifteen firms selected for the final. “Each of these came from different cities and addressed a unique business challenge through their solutions,” said Singh.
According to Nimesh Kampani, CEO of Trica (a LetsVenture group company) and one of the jury members, “all startups were equally good and choosing one winner was a hugely difficult task.”
The competition’s winner turned out to be Worxogo Solutions, a rapidly growing company that enables its clients to use artificial intelligence on domains such as behaviour design, neuroeconomics and predictive analytics to nudge sales professionals, customer support and backoffice teams with the goal of improving performance.
According to one case study featured at the event, Worxogo’s so-called ‘Nudge Coach’ managed to improve sales by 25% at a client, while increasing customer satisfaction. Singh: “My heartfelt congratulations to Worxogo for their outstanding performance in the competition and I wish them the very best at the finals scheduled to take place at the Global Web Summit in Lisbon, later in the year.”
