Oliver Wyman welcomes ex-McKinsey partner Chirag Adatia to leadership team
Oliver Wyman has brought former McKinsey partner Chirag Adatia on board as a partner in its Health & Life Sciences practice.
Chirag Adatia brings over 18 years of experience in healthcare strategy and digital transformation to Oliver Wyman, a strategy and management consulting firm with offices around the world.
In his new role, Adatia will leverage Oliver Wyman’s expertise in healthcare and life sciences to support clients in India as they navigate their growth and transformation journeys. He will also spearhead the development of Oliver Wyman’s Private Capital practice in India, collaborating closely with investment firms focused on healthcare, financial services, technology, consumer products, and energy.
“Both the healthcare industry and the investor landscape in India are being reimagined. The opportunity to partner with organisations – from providers and payers to pharma companies and private equity firms – to unlock better outcomes through the power of technology, strategy, and superior execution is both a challenge and an opportunity,” said Adatia.
“I look forward to contributing to the firm’s purpose-driven approach and collaborating with colleagues and clients across markets.”
Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Adatia served as CEO for India and Emerging Markets at THB, an enterprise healthcare SaaS company, where he played a key role in scaling the business. Before that, he was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he spent 15 years and latterly led the digital Health & Life Sciences and Sales & Marketing practice across multiple markets in Asia.
Sumit Sarawgi, Head of India at Oliver Wyman, said: “Chirag’s extensive experience and visionary leadership in healthcare transformation will be invaluable as we continue to help our clients navigate the evolving landscape. His cross-sector perspective, particularly at the intersection of healthcare and private capital, is timely as investors take bolder bets on India.”
