Atos and AWS launch GenAI Innovation Studio in Pune

Atos and subsidiary Eviden have teamed up with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to launch a GenAI Innovation Studio in Pune.

The GenAI Innovation Studio will serve as a collaborative hub where Atos and AWS will co-develop GenAI solutions that tackle industry-specific challenges. Customers will have the opportunity to engage in envisioning sessions and hands-on proofs-of-value specifically tailored to their needs, accelerating their AI adoption and experiencing real-world generative AI applications.

The partnership builds on a long-standing relationship between Atos and AWS, which goes back to 2013. The GenAI Innovation Studio meanwhile is part of the 5-year strategic collaboration agreement established between Eviden and AWS at the end of last year.

The new studio in Pune spans 6,000 square feet and will also serve as an important training hub for Atos and Eviden, facilitating the delivery of AWS training and certification programs.

Generative AI has been rapidly gaining traction since the introduction of ChatGPT at the end of 2022. Since then, several Generative AI platforms have seen rapid growth in uptake, including Copilot (Microsoft), Gemini (Google), Perplexity and Mistral AI. The hosting of Gen AI takes place in a cloud environment, with AWS one of the world’s three largest cloud providers alongside rivals Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
