SNP appoints Neeraj Athalye as Managing Director for India

SNP has appointed Neeraj Athalye as Managing Director for India, a Mumbai-based role leading the German software group’s expansion in one of its fastest-growing markets. Athalye boasts more than 30 years in enterprise software, and will build out SNP’s partner-first approach to SAP transformation.

Heidelberg-headquartered SNP SE makes software for automated data migration and data management in SAP landscapes, sold through its Kyano platform and the Bluefield approach to restructuring enterprise data. The group works with more than 3,000 customers in over 80 countries and generated revenues of around €297 million in the 2025 financial year.

Athalye has held senior positions at SAP, MatrixOne, Honda, John Deere, SUSE and, most recently, Icertis, across enterprise software, SAP and cloud technologies. SNP points in particular to his record in building partner ecosystems and scaling high-growth businesses – the part of the job that matters most in a market the company intends to serve through others rather than alone.

Phillip Miltiades, who runs SNP’s business across Asia Pacific and Japan as President and Managing Director, set the appointment against the group’s regional ambitions. “We see significant growth potential in India and across the Asia Pacific region,” he said. “India represents one of the most exciting opportunities for SNP, with growing demand for solutions that simplify complex SAP transformation programs while minimizing business disruption.”

Demand for SAP transformation work in India is being driven by cloud adoption and rising investment in AI, which is pushing modernisation of ageing ERP estates up the agenda. SNP plans to widen its ecosystem of consulting, hyperscaler and technology partners in the country, combining Kyano with local delivery and industry expertise – leaving the implementation work, and the client relationships that come with it, largely in partner hands.
