Indigo Consulting appoints new Senior Creative Director
Indigo Consulting has bolstered its creative capabilities with the addition of Tharun James Jimani as its new Senior Creative Director. Jimani will work with a number of the firm’s departments, reporting to Head of Indigo’s Creative division Prasanna Kulkarni, based out of the firm’s Gurgaon office.
Jimani has a substantial body of experience in the creative space, boasting more than a decade of professional experience in multiple regions of the world. Having graduates in Development Economics and Environmental Law from the university of Glasgow, his first professional foray came in UK’s marketing space at Hiscox.
He then moved to Salvo Global in Singapore to work as a Conference Producer, before joining Post Script Advertising in Mumbai as a Senior Copywriter. Jimani’s first creative role came as Creative Consultant for Anabytes in Southern India, where he worked for more than half a year.
Between 2016 and 2018, Jimani was the Creative Director at JWT Asia Pacific and has since ben the Creative Director at Cheill India. He will now leverage this creative, digital and advertising expertise to help with Indigo Consulting’s increasing body of work in the Indian market.
The firm has been focused on boosting its creative capabilities recently, as it looks to strategically enhance branding for a number of its partners. In November last year, the firm appointed Prasanna Kulkarni as the new Head of Creative at Indigo, looking to benefit from his experience in a number of high-profile creative positions.
Jimani will work under Kulkarni, as they both work with Indigo’s expanding pool of clients, not only in the Indian market but across the globe. The firm is currently engaged in digital branding and creative projects with Garnier, NIIT, Ola, and Home Credit.
Commenting on Jimani’s appointment, Prasanna Kulkarni said, “Indigo Consulting’s Gurgaon operations have grown significantly especially in the last few months, and we want to make the best use of this momentum. We constantly add new brands to our growing portfolio, and this warranted an expansion of the creative leadership team. Tharun’s appointment comes at the perfect time, especially given his impressive experience across brands and categories.
Jimani himself added, “Indigo Consulting is one of the true forward-looking digital communication and business transformation companies in the industry today. It walks the integration talk with the Power of One philosophy, and is constantly looking to make clients business-ready for the future. I look forward to contributing with effective creative ideas for clients through my new role.”
